OUR SCHOOL VISION
At Hatfield Peverel Infant and Nursery School, we aim to encourage a love of learning. We strive to provide a nurturing and vibrant community where every child experiences happiness and builds friendships, whilst demonstrating a culture of kindness and compassion. Our school is a secure, safe haven where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we create a dynamic environment where learning is an adventure, curiosity is sparked and knowledge blossoms.

OUR SCHOOL VALUES
We have a school mascot called ERIC who helps and encourages the children to think about our four core values. These values are:
- Effort
- Respect
- Independence
- Communication
These four values provide our children with key life skills for the future. These are taught throughout the whole school and are seamlessly woven into our curriculum, beginning from the earliest stages of education in Nursery. Children are awarded ERIC tokens as a reward for demonstrating these key life skills. Upon entering Reception year, each child is allocated a coloured t-shirt, assigning them to one of four teams: red, green, purple, or orange. The team that accumulates the most ERIC tokens is celebrated during our weekly ‘Celebration Assembly.’ We celebrate their achievements and showcase the importance of teamwork and perseverance.
